When you request treatment from a Provider through the Services, you may share:

  • PHI (Protected Health Information) related to medical history, diagnoses, treatment plans, etc.

  • Date of visit

  • Images or videos for diagnosis or treatment purposes

  • Communications with Providers

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect information directly from you when you visit, access, or use the Services, or when you register for an account. We may also collect information from Providers, Laboratories, Pharmacies, and other third parties that contribute to your care, such as insurance providers and laboratories.

Some information is collected passively through technologies like cookies, local shared objects, pixel tags, and Software Development Kits (SDKs).

HOW WE MAY USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Sistah Pause may retain your information as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with applicable laws. Providers may also retain your information for these reasons.

HIPAA APPLICABILITY

While Sistah Pause is not a health care provider, we may serve as a "business associate" under HIPAA when working with Providers. Your PHI will be handled according to HIPAA and applicable state laws.

SECURITY

We use reasonable security measures such as encryption and password protection to protect your personal information. However, no security measure is completely foolproof, and you share your information at your own risk.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
