Cancellation & Refund
BARRIE WELLNESS NP IN FAMILY HEALTH, PLLC d/b/a SISTAH PAUSE™ and its affiliates
We understand that plans can change. To maintain the quality and integrity of our services, all refunds and credits are subject to the following terms.:
Cancellation
Clients must provide a minimum of two (2) days’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice must be submitted through the patient portal or by email to the contact information provided by Sistah Pause™.
Late cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled appointment will result in a cancellation fee of $75.00.
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice (“No-Show”) will result in a fee of $150.00. Two (2) consecutive no-shows without a valid reason will result in forfeiture of the full Discovery Call fee, with no refunds issued.
Once lab requisitions have been sent, no refunds will be issued, and all services and programs offered by Sistah Pause™ are final and non-refundable. Clients enrolled in a monthly subscription must cancel at least three (3) days before the renewal date to avoid automatic renewal. Refunds for unused portions of subscriptions are not provided. If a pause option is offered and the subscription is not canceled before the end of the pause period, billing will automatically resume.
MEDICATION
BHRT and Weight Loss Prescription Medications, Supplies, and Shipping:
Upon enrollment in any program, prescribed medications will be sent to the client’s designated local pharmacy or dispensed through one of Sistah Pause’s partnered compounding pharmacies. Enrollment in a program signifies acknowledgment and acceptance that all associated consultation, laboratory, and medication services are part of a comprehensive wellness plan. Sistah Pause™ does not offer refunds for any programs, services, or prescribed medications once enrollment has been completed, and all sales are final.
Important Note on Delays
Shipments may experience delays or rerouting due to weather, carrier issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. While all medications remain safe and effective, Sistah Pause™ is not responsible for shipping delays, delivery issues, or insurance coverage denials involving third-party pharmacies or carriers. All prescriptions are subject to the policies and regulations of the dispensing pharmacy.
In rare instances, medications may arrive with a beyond-use date (BUD) closer to the expiration date. If this occurs, clients may contact the dispensing pharmacy directly for a replacement according to its policies. If medications are reported as lost, stolen, or not delivered, and the pharmacy verifies shipment to the correct address, no refunds or replacements will be issued. Clients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and ensuring timely receipt of all deliveries.
